Join Ryan as he discusses his research on the Gateway Western Railroad - the railroad that was created from the remains of the merger of the Gulf, Mobile & Ohio and the Illinois Central as it morphed into the Chicago, Missouri and Western Railroad. A history of the operations, financial collapse, motive power, customer base, and overall history of the operation of the CM&W will be of interest to all who are interested in the operations of the St. Louis rail scene.
Autographed copies will also be available for purchase by those attending.
